Bills, Texans, Colts Prop Bets for Last Week of NFL Regular Season

The conclusion of the NFL’s regular season sees many teams fighting for playoff spots. The staff at BetQL.com has picked out some key contests and provide advice on some prop bets to make.

It’s the last week of the NFL’s regular season and several games will decide who is going to the playoffs and who is staying home. There’s no bigger game in that regard than the Buffalo Bills traveling south to face division rival Miami Dolphins.

The Bills have to win to make the playoffs. They defeated the Dolphins earlier in the season. Caesars Sportsbook has Buffalo a 3-point favorite. The better action, however, might be on the prop bets.

The staff at BetQl.com has taken a look at this game and the others being played Saturday and Sunday. Their insights might just make your betting sheet a little more profitable, especially on some prop bets that might be better wagers than betting the spreads or moneylines.

Allen has Big Day for Bills

This is a very important game for both the Bills and the Dolphins. If it goes anything like the first game between these teams, Josh Allen is going to have a huge day.

In that one, Allen led Buffalo to a 48-20 win by going 21-for-25 for 320 passing yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. He added 17 rushing yards on four carries with another score on the ground. It was his best regular season performance.

BetQL is projecting him to rack up 330 yards through the air in this one and weather shouldn’t be a negative factor down in South Florida. Oh, and over the course of his career, Allen has utterly dominated Miami as a passer, racking up 31 touchdowns compared to just five interceptions with a 110.8 rating over 11 starts (9-2 record).

Allen is also just one rushing touchdown away from Buffalo’s single-season record of 16 set by OJ Simpson in 1975, so he should have some added incentive to find pay dirt with his legs as well.

Prop Bet: Josh Allen Anytime TD (-105 at BetMGM)

Singletary Motivated for Texans

Not only is this a must-win game for the Houston Texans, but a lot of money is riding on a strong individual performance from Devin Singletary. His contract is loaded with incentives. In order to earn an additional $125,000 on top of the $125,000 he already earned for getting over 50% he needs to play at least 55% of his team’s regular-season offensive snaps. He’s at 53% right now.

Not only that, but if he gets more than 1,000 rushing yards, he will earn another $125,000 and could earn another $125,000 if he records over 1,100. He’s at 940 right now, so the 1,000-yard mark is more realistic. I think he will go Over 61.5 yards and get over that 1,000-yard milestone.

Singletary is coming off a 16-carry, 80-yard performance in last week’s 26-3 win over the Titans and has gotten over 61.5 in three of his last four starts. Most importantly, he has a stranglehold on the RB1 role with Dameon Pierce clearly the backup.

Prop Bet: Devin Singletary Over 61.5 rushing yards (-113 at BetRivers)

Taylor Steps in to lead Colts’ Ground Game

Since taking on his usual workhorse role for the Indianapolis Colts due in large part to Zach Moss’ injury, Jonathan Taylor has scored at least one touchdown in five consecutive games and has seen 23, 24, 15, 18 and 22 touches in that span.

Even if Moss returns for this game against the Texans, I think Taylor will see the vast majority of the snaps and get the vast majority of the touches at the position given his recent individual success and the team’s success with him as the bell cow. He should be able to find the end zone at least once to pay off this bet.

This Houston team is obviously very different from the squads from previous seasons, but it’s hard to ignore how dominant Taylor has been against them. Here are his five rushing stat lines against the Colts: 16-135-1, 20-95-1, 15-158-2, 32-143-2 and 35-175-1. It’s really hard not to love JT this week.

Prop Bet: Jonathan Taylor Anytime TD (-137 at Caesars)
