Lines change all the time, and teams go on runs and losing streaks every single week in the NBA. That means this market can be quite volatile, and as with any bet in the NBA, NBA Finals futures can go the same exact way.

We try to stay ahead of this by looking at advanced data, matchup predictions, and schedules. No other sport is tougher to wager on than the NBA with the extreme variance it experiences every single day of the season. That’s why it’s so important for you to get the most value out of your bets.

Suns Best in West

I actually think the Western Conference is better as a whole than the East. However, I feel the East is much more top-heavy. The Phoenix Suns are the best team in the West in my opinion, and I don’t see any other team in the West as a “great” team per se. I’m confident in the Suns making it there.

Celtics Best in East

I have been a believer in the Boston Celtics from the beginning, and if they can get out of this current funk they’re in, I think they’re the best team in the East. It certainly won’t be a lock, but I think they’re a pretty good value at +350 odds.

Best Bets in Western Conference

It’s quite clear that Phoenix has the most talented lineup in the Western Conference, and as such, they should be the favorite here. I trust them far more than the LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors, as one rests their starters every other game and the other can’t win on the road when it matters.

This is just a small sprinkle here at +600 odds, but there is some value with the Grizzlies winning the West. If Ja Morant manages to come back, something tells me that he’s either going to be very good or very bad. If he’s very good and has something to prove, then I could see this team going on a run.

Eastern Conference Best Bets

Boston has had a tough stretch as of late overall, but this has been one of the best teams in the NBA all season. I think they can certainly start winning again heading into the playoffs. They will want to get their groove back before the games really start to matter, and I think they can overtake the Bucks to win the East.

I also like the value here with the Philadelphia 76ers to overtake the top two teams and win the East. They have the projected NBA MVP in Joel Embiid, and the schedule down the stretch isn’t too bad for them. I think they can do it if Boston continues its latest slide.
