Monthlong Contests Let Bettors Build Points

Most online casino promotions are in play for just a few days. But, several iGaming sites offer monthlong contests and sweepstakes to rack up points and more.

Here at iGamingPlayer.com, we like to keep you up to date on the latest online casino promotions that can come out at a pretty rapid pace. Many online casino promotions are in play for just a few days.

But several online sites also offer a more careful and measured approach to some of their promotions—namely monthlong contests and sweepstakes that give you plenty of time to build up points, entries and whatever else it takes to win some big prizes.

GoldenNuggetCasino.com

For example, GoldenNuggetCasino.com is currently offering a $300K + annual wagering race, which breaks down into monthly contests all year long. Each month it takes only a $20 deposit to enter the race for golden points (Golden Nugget’s player reward points). Through July you’ll receive 100 percent of your golden points each month, but starting in August it bumps up to 200 percent and finally goes to 300 percent in December.

The Golden Race offers you two ways to win:

Monthly races: every month, play any game, earn Golden Points, master the leaderboard and win up to $5,000

Annual race: accumulate Golden Points all year long and win up to $2,000 per month for 2018

VirginCasino.com

At VirginCasino.com, the monthly race is on to win special vacation packages. In April, the trip was a weekend of cowboy training at a Dude Ranch. Every month Virgin rolls out a special excursion which has included cruises and trips around the country.

Just enter the contest and each time you wager $50 you earn one entry into a Prize Draw for the vacation—up to five entries a day.

For monthly contests, however, nothing beats online poker sites for action, where monthly leaderboards are the rule.

BorgataPoker.com

BorgataPoker.com, for example, offers a monthly leaderboard for all tournament play. Every time you play a Borgata tournament, you receive leaderboard points. Top the leaderboard and you win free entries into a variety of Borgata tournaments. The top winner gets more than $1,000 in free entries, including a $300 entry into a land-based tournament in Atlantic City.

WSOP.com

Few sites top WSOP.com for monthly leaderboards, however. The poker site offers leaderboards each month for playing in shorthanded tournaments, earning loyalty points and playing specific tournament events. At the end are payouts of cash and bonus points—which can be converted to cash. The best bet is to check out WSOP.com—or our promotions page—at the beginning of the month for the contests being offered.

Online casino promotions can change pretty fast, but in these special cases, you’ve got all month long to rack up the points, and hopefully, the prizes.
