With the Super Bowl coming up this weekend, we look into some interesting player props for the NFL’s biggest game of the year.

The players take center stage obviously at the Super Bowl and sportsbooks also make them important when it comes to prop bets. There are many to choose from. We looked at some of the more interesting ones available.

Purdy Over 244.5 Passing Yards

As much as San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy’s journey has been a strange one, his level of play has been undeniably high this season. In a game where he will likely be challenged to something of a shootout by the opposing quarterback, look for Purdy to surpass this number by utilizing his weapons on offense, namely Brandon Aiyuk, Christian McCaffery, George Kittle, and Deebo Samuel. These four weapons plus a stellar offensive line give plenty of help to the developing young quarterback, and can help him shine.

Mahomes Under 25.5 Rushing Yards

In the last couple games, while Patrick Mahomes has shown his characteristic big runs in big moments, the lack of protection during other attempts have left his numbers looking flat. Against one of the best defensive fronts in the country, I think Mahomes has difficulty. He will have to  rely on safety valve routes to his RB Isiah Pacheco and his legendary TE Travis Kelce.

Kelce Over 70.5 Receiving Yards

Speaking of Kelce, I think it would be wrong not to include him in this piece. In each of the Chief’s three playoff games this season, he has surpassed this number. Two of those games happened in horrible conditions for the passing game. One in Kansas City with snow and record cold temperatures, and another in Buffalo after a snowstorm ravaged the city. The only issue that could plague Kelce would be above average secondary play by San Francisco. However, they have yet to prove that they are made of the same stuff as the offensive line. Last week’s performance against the Lions and the previous week against the Packers left a lot to be desired.

Harrison Butker Over 1.5 Field Goals Made

Harrison Butker is nearly automatic. An amazing kicker who hasn’t yet missed this postseason at a perfect 7-for-7 through three games. When he gets his number called he shows up. The offensive line for Kansas City is going to be under fire the entire game. They’re bound to let one or two pass rushers through in a dangerous position. My prediction comes down to the fact that Andy Reid is a pragmatic coach. He will take all the points that he can, so when push comes to shove, he’s going to send out Butker in the big moments.

McCaffrey Under 128.5 Combined Yards

The trade that was put together to get Christian McCaffrey from the Panthers has paid dividends for the 49ers. It shows why the running back position is incredibly important. That is why having a versatile backfield player with your quarterback can help give him the freedom to move the ball.

That said, I think one of the biggest strengths of having McCaffrey is that he takes a defender out of the middle of the field when he runs routes out wide. That will leave other players open for the purpose of advancing the football. while his production as a running back will help pad his stats closer to this number, I think his involvement in the passing game is going to be too small to justify this high of a line (one he has been within a few yards of the last two games).
