PokerStars NAPT Returns to Las Vegas in November with $1.5 Million Prize Pool

After a 12-year absence, PokerStars is bringing back the North American Poker Tour with a stop in Las Vegas.

The North American Poker Tour (NAPT) by PokerStars makes a triumphant return with their first event in 12 years. Resorts World will host the 2023 NAPT Las Vegas that will run between November 4 and 12.

NAPT Returns After 12-Year Hiatus

PokerStars launched the NAPT in 2010 and it was a short-lived tournament series that ended in 2011. During its brief existence, American pro Vanessa Selbst won two NAPT events including the NAPT Mohegan Sun in 2010 and 2011.

Players had lobbied PokerStars to bring the NAPT back for several years. They finally rebooted the series with an epic return in Las Vegas.

“We’re bringing back the NAPT after 12 years, with Resorts World Las Vegas as our first stop,” said PokerStars CEO Kevin Harrington. “Building on the success of our European Poker Tour, we are excited to bring epic Live Poker back to North America and demonstrate to our players across the globe how we embody our passion for players.”

“We are delighted to announce the return of this iconic series and once again hold the NAPT for poker players in North America,” commented Steve Preiss, VP for PokerStars North America. “We’re working hard to ensure that this is a spectacular series and can’t wait to head to Las Vegas to get the show on the road.”
