BetMGM Poker Championship Returns to Aria Las Vegas; PA Joins Pool

Once it opened, there was no doubt: Aria is the epicenter of poker in Las Vegas. And in June, the BetMGM Poker Championship begins. Don’t miss out, you can still get in on the fun at BetMGM online poker as well.

Epic news continues to happen at BetMGM Poker. The $3 million BetMGM Poker Championship begins at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on June 30. It will be the Main Event in their annual and insanely popular Aria Poker Classic Summer Series. They also recently announced that online poker players in Pennsylvania will be able to participate in a shared liquidity player pool with other states on the BetMGM Poker platform beginning on April 28.

2025 ARIA Poker Classic Summer Series

Summers in Las Vegas have been a hotbed for poker over the last 20 years. The World Series of Poker attracts players from all over the world, and many other casinos host their own tournament series to attract an influx of poker players from all walks of life, including casual players, pros, and deep-pocketed high rollers.

The Aria is a renowned hub for high-stakes action in Las Vegas. For a fourth summer in a row, they will host their signature tournament festival known as the Aria Poker Classic Summer Series. Daily tournaments will run from May 28 to July 13 with 46 trophy events and $13 million in guaranteed prize pools. Their marquee event, the BetMGM Poker Championship, has a juicy $3 million guarantee. For PLO fans, the PLO Championship has a $1 million guarantee.

This year’s Aria Poker Classic Summer Series schedule includes no-limit hold ’em, pot-limit hold ’em, H.O.R.S.E., and Mystery Bounty (in both NLH and PLO. There’s also a special Senior’s Event (50+) and a Ladies Mystery Bounty.

The lowest price point for the Aria Poker Classic Summer Series will be $800, with plenty of $1,100 options as well. The Aria will also run satellites, as low as $240, with guaranteed seats for other events. Main Event satellites cost only $400 for the $3 Million BetMGM Championship. Satellites for the $1 Million PLO Championship are just $300.

$3 million BetMGM Poker Championship

The 2025 BetMGM Poker Championship is a $3,500 buy-in no-limit hold ’em tournament that will run June 30 through July 4. The final table will be live-streamed at the PokerGO Studio.

Online qualifiers for the BetMGM Poker Championship run at 9:15 p.m. EST every Thursday and Sunday between now and Sunday, June 22. These coveted BetMGM Poker Championship packages include a $3,500 Championship entry, a five-night stay at the Aria in Las Vegas, travel credit and a BetMGM swag bag. They expect more than 100 players will win packages from BetMGM Poker markets including New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario (Canada). BetMGM Poker Shared Player Pool Begins April 28

BetMGM announced that Pennsylvania has joined the BetMGM Poker shared player pool. Pennsylvania will merge with New Jersey and Michigan beginning on Monday, April 28 at 9 a.m.

Online poker players from the three states can compete on the same platform. They will finally have the opportunity to battle it out for the largest prize pools in the history of BetMGM Poker.

“Pennsylvania represents the largest state to join the shared player pool and turbocharges our poker platform,” added Nisbet. “This expanded player pool will allow us to deliver more games and bigger tournaments to our players. BetMGM Poker is ready to celebrate the growth of our shared liquidity network throughout the spring and summer in a variety of ways.”
