BetMGM Presents NY Jets, Bellagio Slots

MGM Resorts International is known as one of the top online casino operators through its main site, BetMGM.com. In New Jersey, MGM also runs the online site branded to its Borgata casino in Atlantic City, BorgataCasino.com.

One thing MGM has been particularly good at is partnering with slot game designers to create exclusive offerings for the BetMGM and Borgata casinos.

Two great examples are exclusive to those two sites—one themed around another great MGM casino resort, the Bellagio in Las Vegas, and another based on one of the hottest NFL football teams in the Northeast, the New York Jets.

Every game features a “Return to Player” or RTP. That reflects the percentage of all wagers on a game that are returned, collectively, to players as wins. It also is known as the payback percentage.

Get Vegas Feel with Bellagio Fountains of Fortune

Borgata and BetMGM exclusively offer a slot game themed around what is arguably MGM’s most famous casino, the Bellagio. The game was developed by Entain.

Called Bellagio Fountains of Fortune, the five-reel, 20-line game features the most well-known feature of the resort, the fountains that do a colorful water dance on the lake in front of the property. The game was developed through collaboration between Entain and MGM Resorts.

MGM said in a statement at this summer’s release of the game that it “replicates a world-class slots experience through game icons, bespoke musical score, bonus features, and functionality.” All of those images and sounds are present during primary game reel-spinning in what is a beautiful presentation, but this game also offers great bonus features.

Prominent in the base-game features are those famous fountains. When a Blue Fountain symbol lands on the fifth reel, it “explodes” all low-paying symbols including itself after paylines have been evaluated. Those symbols disappear and new symbols cascade down onto the screen, for another evaluation and possibly another win. The cascades continue until no winning combinations are on the screen, potentially paying off several times for one initial spin.

The Gold Fountain is wild, and will stack if all symbols in a reel are exploded.

Several cascading wins can trigger a free-games feature. As cascades occur, a ladder display to the right of the reel lights up. On the fourth cascade, “7” lights up for seven free spins. As the cascades continue, the free games rise through 10, 15, 20, to a maximum of 25 free spins. The fountain cascades continue during the free-spin round.

Bellagio Fountains of Fortune has a RTP of 75.79%.

Score Big with Jets Deluxe

In September, BetMGM announced the launch of an exclusive slot game for the BetMGM, Borgata and Party Casino (use affiliate link) sites. It’s themed with the logo, sites and colors of the NFL’s New York Jets. Everi Digital is the developer of this slot game.

Instead of going with some elaborate video animation displaying football plays or games, MGM went with a simple design—a three-reel, nine-line traditional slot game. And it went to one of the top designers of this game style, Everi Holdings, to accomplish it, through the supplier’s Everi Digital division.

In the physical casino world, Everi, among other things, is known for its highly successful traditional mechanical reel-spinners. Few do this genre better. If you like traditional slots, you’ll love this game.

The primary game is offered in the dollar denomination. It features all the familiar traditional reel symbols, including bar symbols and single, double and triple “7” symbols.

The New York Jets logo is wild, and figures in the progressives. During primary game play, a “nudge” feature will automatically move a reel up or down to form a winning combination on one or more paylines. There also is a “Double Nudge” feature. When one or more New York Jets logo symbols land on a payline, wins in the initial reel stop are paid first then each New York Jets symbol can nudge up or down one position to create a new reel combination to be evaluated.

The nudge direction is dictated by the arrow on the symbol. All New York Jets symbols nudge at the same time, no matter the direction. If applicable, wins for the initial nudge combination are paid, then each New York Jets symbol can nudge a second time up or down one position to create a new reel combination.

There are multiplier symbols displayed on certain “7” and bar symbols, which multiply winning combinations (except progressives). Two or more multipliers on a payline multiply together and multiply the winning combination. The maximum total multiplier for a winning combination is 75X.

There are 2X multipliers available on 777, 7, and double bar symbols. 3X multipliers are available on 77, 7 and single bar symbols. 5X multipliers are available on 777, double bar and single bar symbols.

There are two progressive jackpots, available at max bet only. At max bet, when three New York Jets logo symbols land on payline 9, the top progressive is awarded, resetting at $4,000. When three New York Jets symbols land on paylines 1 to 8, the bottom progressive, starting at $300, is awarded.

The RTP is 96%.
