The site has introduced the Summer Splash, which began June 3 and runs to September 2. Players who participate in three or more of the signature Sunday events during that time have a chance to win an invitation to a special Summer Splash freeroll event on September 9. The $40,000 Sunday tournament carries a $215 buy-in, but through the Summer Splash promotion, you can get some cash back on those stakes. You start receiving tournament dollars once you’ve entered three Sunday tournaments ($10 for the first three and then rising with every entry). Play in 14, and you get a free $215 entry into another Sunday $40,000 tournament.
But it’s the September 9 freeroll that offers the best rewards. The top 50 places in the freeroll will win prizes, including land-based entry into the $3 Million Guaranteed WPT Borgata Poker Open Championship at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. Other prizes include entry into the $1 Million Guaranteed Borgata Poker Open Almighty Stack as well as more online entries into the Sunday $40,000 tournament and BorgataPoker’s Daily $10,000 tournament.
