Loyalty Pays: Using One Betting Site for Ultimate Rewards

BetRivers offers a generous loyalty program and easy point-earning. The Rush Rewards programs gives gamblers benefits that you can’t find anywhere else and you compile points both in person and online.

One good way to gauge the value of an online casino is to look at the loyalty club attached to it. One of the better online loyalty programs you’ll find is at one of the BetRivers sites, owned by Rush Street Gaming.

The benefits begin as in many other online casinos that are attached to brick-and-mortar counterparts—with the linking of the loyalty counts so points are interchangeable online or offline. Points earned at the BetRivers sites can be redeemed at the Rivers Casino properties in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, which are owned by Rush Street Gaming. (Eventually, the newer Rivers Casino in Schenectady, New York will be added.)

Rush Rewards

Assuming you have a Rush Rewards account for the physical Rivers casinos, the points you earn online will be recognized at the casino, and vice versa.

Point-earning is tied to the return-to-player percentage, or RTP, of the game you choose, starting with a 94 percent return. On a game with a 94 percent RTP, you earn one point for every $4.17 wagered. On games with 95-97.4 percent return, wagering $5 earns a point. For 97.5-98.9 percent return, every $10 wagered earns a point. For 99 percent RTP and above, it takes $25 to earn a point.

It’s important to note that you don’t have to lose $4.17 to earn a point on a 94 percent game. A point is earned for the amount wagered, even if you are wagering from your winnings. An up-and-down session in which you win, lose and win again records a point for every $4.17 wagered, win or lose.

On the sportsbook side, points are determined by the number of wagers made at a given time. For example, a point is earned for a $6 single wager, but when wagering on 10 or more propositions at once, a point is returned for every 50 cents wagered.

The BetRivers sites feature reward redemption in several formats. At the heart of the program is what’s called the “Bonus Bank.” Bonus money received through points or from various promotions, such as the Prize Wheel Spin and Bingo Games, can be played through immediately or banked for future use.

To collect the accumulated Bonus Bank money, click on the “My Bonus Bank” dropdown on the top banner or My Bonuses under the My Account dropdown. You only need to play through the Bonus Money once before winnings can be converted to cash (Many sites require multiple play-throughs.)

Mystery Meter

There’s a Bonus Money Meter you can check as you play to see what your accumulated total is.

There also is a “Bonus Store” where points can be redeemed for gifts as well as cash. When you enter, there’s a fun wheel spin to point you to the gifts available for the tier you have achieved through your play.

The iRush Rewards program has 10 loyalty tiers. Earning 40 points gets you access to the Bonus Store. Reaching 160 points earns an invite for a free bingo session. Special offers rise as the tier rises, with players earning free casino play, dining offers, VIP promotions, birthday gifts, and luxury VIP gifts. At the top tiers are overnight accommodations at a Rivers casino hotel, free Apple or Android device, and exclusive VIP perks.

BetRivers sites do have a wealth of good promotions. But as far as loyalty clubs go, few are better.
