MLB bettors will be betting on the winner of the 2023 World Series and the conference championships all season. We have you covered all season long with best bets, predictions, analysis and odds on who will win the 2023 World Series.
Last season, we all saw the Houston Astros lift up The Commissioner’s Trophy when they took down the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2022 World Series.
It was a dominant season for the Astros, easily winning the AL West by 16 games over the second-place Seattle Mariners. They finished with a 106-56 record, the best record in the American League. Houston defeated the Phillies 4 games to2 in the World Series. However, the Astros aren’t the best bet to win either AL Championship or the World Series in 2023.
Take a look below on who to place your early money on to win the World Series and the AL and NL Championships.

Rays, Yankees Battle for AL Championship
Could the Tampa Bay Rays be for real? We’re only a few weeks into the season and they are already 19-8 after their 12-game winning streak. They certainly have the pitching staff to win the AL Pennant. If the offense can stay strong and churning away runs, they can certainly do it. They are +425 to win the AL and +900 to win the World Series.
The New York Yankees are off to a pretty good start, and yet, they are missing most of their starting pitching staff. Carlos Rodon, Luis Severino, and Nestor Cortes all haven’t even pitched yet this season. Imagine how good this team could be if they got all three of those star hurlers back into the rotation. Their odds have gotten a bit longer; they are +400 to win the AL and +900 to win the series. They should start to heat up as the season progresses.

Braves Favorite in NL
Last season, Philadelphia hoisted the NL Pennant and advanced to the World Series, defeating the San Diego Padres 4-1 in the National League Championship Series.
It was a surprising result for the Phillies, who actually finished third in the NL East standings behind the Atlanta Braves, and New York Mets. Philly ended the season with an 87-75 record, and was the last team to make the playoffs in the NL. Their improbable run saw them beat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-0 in the NL Wild Card. Then they took down the Braves 3-1 in the NLDS before advancing to the NLCS to be crowned NL Champions.
The Braves have proven to be one of the best teams in the MLB over the past few weeks. While it’s early in the season, this is just a preview of what’s to come. They have the offense and pitching to get the job done, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see them face the Dodgers in the NLCS, so I’d expect them to become even bigger favorites as the season gets ramped up. They are +375 right now to win the NL Pennant.
The value is there for the Dodgers to win the NL Pennant at +425. This is a team that almost always makes a move at the trade deadline. They have all the money and power in the world to do so. Look for them to continue to build their roster at the halfway point. They will heat up throughout the summer and their odds will likely continue to improve.
Dodgers Great World Series Value Bet
Getting +850 on the Dodgers feels like stealing, as we all know they’ll be right back there at the end competing for a championship. At the trade deadline, L.A. almost always makes a move for a star player. You can count on them to do that again to bolster their roster for the second-half push. Their odds improved slightly since the start of the season and they look to keep improving as the season continues.
At +600, the Braves are a great value to get right now . This is a team that’s destroying the field, and they were a really popular futures bet coming into the season. You could wait to see if they go on a cold streak to pick them up, but these odds are pretty good for a team as loaded as Atlanta is.
