PokerStars released the 2024 schedule for the popular European Poker Tour (EPT), which will run for an 18th season in some of the most historic locations in Europe.
The 2024 EPT begins in Paris, France in February. It concludes with the EPT Prague in the Czech Republic next December. The 2024 EPT tour also includes stops in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Cyprus.

EPT Paris Kicks Off 2024
The 2024 EPT Paris begins on February 14, 2024 and runs through February 25. The first poker festival of 2024 will be hosted at a swanky new venue called Le Palais des Congres, which will have enough space for 120 tables.
“After last year’s EPT Paris, we really listened to players’ feedback, and we looked at how to improve the players’ experience and capacity for this event which has the potential to be one of the largest EPT festivals ever,” said Cedric Billot, associate director of PokerStars Live Events Operations. “A new and larger venue, improvements on the registrations, more tables. We hope to welcome as many players as possible in 2024 in Paris!”
Satellites are already underway at PokerStars, where you can win a seat to the €5,300 EPT Paris Main Event, which includes eight nights of accommodation for you and a guest.
You can also win a seat to the FPS Paris Main Event. That includes the €1,100 buy-in and accommodations for seven nights.

Romania’s Razvan Belea is the defending EPT Paris champion, and he banked $1.25 million for his victory last winter.

EPT Returns to Monte Carlo and Barcelona
When you conjure up images of high-stake poker in Europe, how could you not think about Monte Carlo? You cannot have an international poker circuit without a stop in Monte Carlo, right?
The Monte-Carlo Casino will host the EPT Monte Carlo once again at the iconic Salle des Etoiles venue. PokerStars has done this every year since 2005 (except for 2020 during the pandemic).
The EPT Monte Carlo begins on April 24, 2024 and runs through May 4. Canadian pro Mike Watts is the defending champion, and he banked over $825,000 for his victory at the EPT Monte Carlo this past April.
The EPT returns to Barcelona for a 20th year. Visiting Spain during the summer is always a raging time. Many pros try to book their working holidays and vacations to coincide with the EPT Barcelona at the end of the summer.
The 2024 EPT Barcelona begins August 26 and concludes on September 8. This year’s Barcelona Estrellas Main Event is expected to be a memorable celebration for the 20th birthday of the EPT Barcelona.
Giuliano Bendinelli from Italy is the defending EPT Barcelona champion, and he walked away with a juicy score worth $1.5 million.
EPT Cyprus Reprise and Holiday Festival in Prague
The EPT Cyprus is a new stop on the circuit compared to old standbys like Monte Carlo and Barcelona. The island enclave in the Mediterranean has become a hot spot for poker and gambling over the last decade.
The swanky Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino will be the location of the EPT Cyprus once again. Players loved the inaugural EPT Cyprus this year, and they cannot wait to return in 2024. Gilles Simon from the Netherlands won the first EPT Cyprus in October for a score worth over $1 million.
The 2024 EPT Cyprus begins on October 9 with multiple events running through October 20.
The EPT will conclude their 2023 season in Prague, which begins in the first week of December at the Prague Hilton. They’ll return to Eastern Europe next December and cap off the 2024 season with another holiday festival at the EPT Prague.
