Spring Poker Open Begins April 29

The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is the jewel of Atlantic City and the home to one of the premier poker rooms on the East Coast.

The Borgata Casino hosts different live poker festivals throughout the year, and their annual Spring Poker Open is always a popular destination for tournament players.

“We continue to raise the bar for live tournament action every time we partner with Borgata,” said Luke Staudenmaier, director of poker at BetMGM. “This promises to be an historic spring and summer for BetMGM Poker and it starts with online qualifiers in April.”

The 2024 Borgata Spring Poker Open (SPO) begins on April 29 and ends on May 14. This year’s SPO features over $4 million in guaranteed prize pools. There will be 22 events with buy-ins ranging from $180 to $2,700.

The 2024 SPO schedule begins with the Almighty Million Kick-Off on April 30. The $500 buy-in tournament has a guarantee worth $1 million.

The SPO Championship, the marquee event, begins on May 10. The buy-in is $2,700 and features a guaranteed prize pool worth $2 million.

The 2024 SPO schedule also includes a Seniors (50+) Championship with a $350 buy-in and a Ladies Championship with a $300 buy-in.

Borgata events for the 2024 SPO will be reported to the GPI Index and Hendon Mob.

Borgata SPO Packages Available Now on BetMGM Poker

SPO Streaming Schedule

If you want to check out the action at the Borgata or sweat a friend at the final table in the SPO, then you’ll be in luck. The Borgata confirmed they will stream seven events on Twitch starting in May including the final table of the Spring Poker Open Championship.

The streaming festivities begin on Friday, May 3 at 6 pm ET with the 2-5 No Limit Hold’em Live Stream Event.

That first weekend in May also includes live streams of the Kick Off Almighty Million Final Table at 4 pm ET on Saturday, May 4 and the Pot Limit Omaha Live Stream Event at 6 pm on Sunday, May 5.

The BetMGM Online Hybrid Championship will be streamed starting on Thursday, May 9.

Other 2024 SPO events that will be streamed on Twitch include the Mirror Mystery Bounty Final Table on Friday, May 10 at 1 pm ET and the High Roller Big Buy-in Live Stream Event at 6 pm ET on Sunday, May 12.

The streaming schedule concludes with the Borgata Spring Poker Open Championship Final Table. Coverage begins at noon on Tuesday, May 14.
