WSOP.com’s Weekly Leaderboards Award Players in Cash, Tournament Seats

The basic leaderboard simply rewards players who accumulate rewards points for playing their favorite games. With four weekly leaderboard promotions to choose from, covering both cash and tournament action, players are always on the hunt for big rewards at WSOP.com.

Leaderboards are a popular promotional tool for online gambling sites, offering both bonus dollars and the added fun of a competing with your fellow players. The basic leaderboard simply rewards players who accumulate rewards points for playing their favorite games. The more points you accumulate, the higher up on the board you finish. The player with the most points takes home (well, you’re probably already home) the biggest bonus.

This works great for online slot play, but for online poker sites, the leaderboards have their own special twists. And when it comes to poker leaderboards, it’s hard to top WSOP.com in New Jersey and Nevada, which offers up four weekly online leaderboard promotions.

First up is the App leaderboard. In this case, App means “action player points,” and they’re simply rewards points earned for playing cash games at the site. All players earn Apps when playing, but by opting into this leaderboard, you’re in a contest with all the other players at WSOP.

A share of $2,500 is up for grabs for the top 30 finishers on the leaderboards each week with the top player getting $500.

The remaining three leaderboards offer bonus prizes for playing specific tournament games. Each offers their own specific formula for generating leaderboard points.

It starts with the Blast Poker Sit-&-Go Leaderboard. Blast Poker is an amped up four-handed Sit & Go (one-table) tournament with a random prize pool multiplier. That could increase the table pool by two to 100 times.

Along with the regular prize pool, leaderboard players compete for $1,500 each week in a combination of tournament tickets used to buy into games and bonus dollars.

WSOP also offers a Mega Monster leaderboard for multi-table tournaments. If you’re a regular player of tournaments, this board gives you a shot at winning extra tournament tickets to, you know, play more tournaments. The winner gets $345 in free tournament play.

Finally, WSOP also offers a leaderboard promotion for regular Sit & Go tournaments. To play for your spot at the top, just finish in the top 50 percent of any qualifying Sit & Go tournament. The better you perform, the better your chance of taking home your share of over $500 weekly.

With four leaderboards to choose from, covering both cash and tournament action, players are always on the hunt for big rewards at WSOP.com.
