WSOP Online Poker Events for February

There’s still plenty of time to get in on WSOP.com’s Winter Championships.

The 47-event series kicked off February 9 and culminates in a $200,000 guaranteed Main Event on Saturday, February 23. The winner of the Main Event will get a championship belt.

Available to players in New Jersey and Nevada, WSOP.com has also scheduled a satellite to the Main Event for Friday, February 22 that will award 20 seats to the tournament.

Some other highlights of the Winter Championships:

  • A $150,000 guaranteed, $320 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament on Sunday, February 16
  • A $100,000 guaranteed high-roller event on Tuesday, February 18 with a $1,000 buy-in

The bulk of the 47 events carry buy-ins from $30 to $100 and prize pool guarantees from $10,000 to $50,000. Tournaments include Turbo games and knockout and freeze-out variations.

There are also a large number of deepstack games in this varied set. Whatever your favorite variation—including 4-max, 6-max and 8-max— you’ll probably find an event you like.

Online Circuit

WSOP.com has also announced its Online Circuit series, which will run from Tuesday, February 25 to Sunday, March 8. The 13 events run once a day through the series, and offer more than $1 million in prize-pool guarantees. Buy-in for the circuit events range from $200 to $1,000.

The $1,000 buy-in event will be held Tuesday, March 3, and carries a $100,000 prize pool guarantee for the 6-Max tournament. Also, the $525 buy-in Main Event for the series will be held Sunday, March 8, and carries a $300,000 prize pool guarantee. Winners of all circuit events are awarded a championship ring.

In addition to cash prizes, winners receive points based on the number of participants and payout percentages in each ring event.

Participants can also qualify for the 2019/2020 Global Casino Championship. The championship is a live international WSOP event, to be held this August at Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina.
