Cordish Launches PA Online Casino

Baltimore-based Cordish Companies’ Stadium Casino subsidiary, in a first, is launching its Play Live! online casino brand before its two brick-and-mortar facilities in Pennsylvania are open.

Stadium Casino is in the midst of construction for its Live! Hotel & Casino Philadelphia, slated to open early next year, and its Live! Casino Pittsburgh Category 4 mini-casino connected to that license, which could open by the end of 2020.

Last week, Cordish conducted a three-day test of its playlive.com iGaming site. The operator was expected to go live with the site on Friday with 98 slot games, including titles such as Divine Fortune, DaVinci Diamonds, Gonzo’s Quest, Wolf Run, and multiple Wheel of Fortune options. It also offers four versions of roulette plus Blackjack Classic, baccarat, and three video poker choices, according to a report on the pennbets.com news site.

The site also is offering a generous welcome bonus—a 100 percent match up to $500 on customers’ first deposit of $30 or more.
