Golden Nugget Offers West Virginia iGaming

Golden Nugget, the leader of New Jersey’s online casino market, announced a partnership with the Greenbrier in West Virginia to bring online sports betting and casino gambling to the state, pending regulatory approval. The deal makes Golden Nugget the third online casino operating in West Virginia, following the launch of DraftKings Casino in July and BetMGM in August.

Other online sports betting options include DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, William Hill and Betly, the online sportsbook offering from Mardi Gras Casino.

West Virginia is one of only four states that allow all three forms of online gambling–sports betting, casinos and poker. New Jersey and Pennsylvania currently also offer all three iGaming options, and Michigan is on the brink of offering online gambling.

Observers expect FanDuel to expand operations in West Virginia to compete with market leader DraftKings.
