GLI Accredited for iGaming in Philippines

Gaming Laboratories International became the first testing lab accredited to test and certify online gaming systems for Philippines offshore gaming operator license-holders.

Leading gaming testing company Gaming Laboratories International’s GLI Australia division became the first independent test laboratory to be accredited by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to test and certify online gaming systems operated by holders of a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) license.

In order to remain in compliance with the requirements of the Philippines’ national gaming regulator, POGO license holders can now rely on GLI to ensure their online gaming systems are tested and certified to the highest standards.

GLI Australia Senior Manager Regulation, Compliance and Quality Assurance Phil Harrison said, “We are honored to be accredited by PAGCOR to test and certify POGO online gaming systems. PAGCOR is the Philippines’ national gaming regulator and, with the establishment of the POGO jurisdiction, regulates the largest number of online gaming operators in the APAC region.

“GLI is committed to the APAC region and will further that engagement through PAGCOR’s accreditation as an independent tester at its Adelaide, Sydney and Macau test facilities. We are delighted to provide PAGCOR’s license holders with the highest quality and most effective services to the industry.”

With this accreditation, GLI is opening the door for its iGaming clients to obtain access to another jurisdiction in the rapidly expanding APAC region. GLI Australia is authorized to provide independent testing and professional services to all Australian states, as well as territories including the Philippines, Macau, Singapore and other APAC gaming jurisdictions.
