Longtime USA Swim Team member Zane Grothe talks about the 2024 Swim Team at the Paris Olympics, who are the strongest swimmers and who might be the dark horses for a medal or two.

Zane Grothe spent more than a decade in the program for the USA Swim Team. The championship swimmer from Boulder City, Nevada, last year won two medals at the Pan American Games. Grothe recently retired to get on with the rest of his life, but here he recounts has many years in swimming, how he competed for his high school team and going to college on a scholarship to Auburn University. He evaluates the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swim team and talks about individual swimmers and their chances to bring back medals from the Olympics, which start in Paris on Friday. He spoke with iGamingPlayer.com President Roger Gros via Zoom from his home in Alabama in July.

The following day, Gehrig replaced veteran Wally Pipp at first base, who was sidelined by a slump and headaches. A native New Yorker in his third season, Gehrig would remain a fixture in the Yankees' lineup for 14 years, not missing another game until May 2, 1939.
