Kristen Foxen Makes History with Fourth WSOP Bracelet Win

Canadian poker professional Kristen Foxen won her fourth World Series of Poker bracelet recently when she took the online $888 buy-in Crazy 8’s.

Canadian pro Kristen Foxen won her fourth World Series of Poker bracelet. She becomes the first woman to win four WSOP bracelets. Foxen recently took down the $888 buy-in Crazy 8’s bracelet event at the 2023 WSOP Online at WSOP.com.

Foxen Ships WSOP Bracelet No. 4

The domestic version of the 2023 WSOP Online is currently running through mid-October. A total of 33 online bracelets are up for grabs at the WSOP.com for players in Nevada and New Jersey.

2023 WSOP Online Bracelet Event #6 $88 NLH Crazy 8’s began on Sunday, September 17. Players were allowed three re-entries. The Crazy 8’s attracted 492 entrants and a prize pool worth $393,600. The top 63 places paid out.

Foxen, playing under the online moniker of ‘krissyb24’, banked $92,142 and a bracelet for her victory in WSOP Online Event #6. She defeated John ‘Relevancy’ Ripnick heads-up for the win.

The Crazy 8’s final table also included Matt ‘RubberFist’ Stout, Dylan ‘Kidnapper’ Destefano, Ryan ‘whosyourdodd’ Dodd, Adam ‘misterblue’ Saven, Ian ‘ApokerJoker2’ Steinman, and Jonathan ‘stoebdaddy’ Stoeber.

Foxen, previously, was tied for the all-time lead among women with three WSOP bracelets. The three-time bracelet winner club featured Vanessa Selbst, Barbara Enright, and Nani Dollison.

Foxen’s First Three WSOP Victories

Foxen won her first WSOP bracelet back in 2013 when she shipped the WSOP Ladies NLHE Championship. The 2013 Ladies Event attracted 954 entries and a prize pool worth $858,600.

Foxen snagged her first bracelet when she defeated Australia’s Leanne Haas heads-up for the title. The final table also included Vegas-based pro Amanda Baker. Foxen earned a first-place payday worth $173,922.

At the 2016 WSOP, Foxen won her first open bracelet with a victory in $1,500 NLHE Bounty. That popular bounty event attracted 2,156 runners and a prize pool worth $1.83 million.

Foxen banked $290,768 for first place and her second piece of hardware as the last player standing. She defeated Hungarian pro Norbert Szecsi heads-up for the title. She also outlasted a final table that included John Myung, Ryan Leng, Will ‘The Thrill’ Failla, Sebastien Comel, Steve Gee, Fadi Hamad, and Jason Singleton.

Foxen won her third WSOP bracelet and first online bling with a victory at the 2020 WSOP Online at GGPoker. She took down Event #44 $2,500 NLHE 6-Handed for a juicy score worth $356,412. That international final table included Brazil’s Belarmino De Souza, Belarus’ Ilya Anatski, China’s Dong Jiang, Simon Higgins from the UK, and France’s Jerome Finck.

Foxen Ranked No. 2 on Women’s Money List

Foxen cashed in three events in Las Vegas this past summer at the 2023 WSOP. She finished in tenth place in the $100,000 High Roller and narrowly missed out on a final table. Foxen banked $187,069 for her deep run in the high-baller affair.

She also cashed in the $1,500 MILLIONAIRE MAKER and the $777- buy-in Lucky 7’s event.

With over $7 million in career earnings, Foxen recently passed Kathy Liebert for second on the women’s all-time money list.

Selbst is the only woman who won more money than Foxen in her career. Selbst is currently ranked No. 1 on Hendon Mob with more than $11.9 million in tournament winnings.

Other notable female players in Hendon Mob’s Top 10 Women’s All-Time Money List include Maria Ho, Annie Duke, Annette Obrestad, Liv Boeree, Joanne Liu, Loni Harwood, and Maria Lampropulos.

Foxen is currently ranked No. 14 on Canada’s all-time money list according to Hendon Mob. Daniel Negreanu tops the all-time Canadian list with $51.3 million in career earnings. Kid Poker is followed by Timothy Adams ($37.4M), Sam Greenwood ($33.6M), Daniel Dvoress ($25.1M), and Mike Watson ($20.7M) in Canada’s top five money leaders.
