This monster-of-the-deep theme plays out on a screen depicting an underwater scene, with the “reels” appearing as a seven-by-seven grid of symbols. Each time the spin button is clicked, the prior grid disappears and new symbols fall into place. Wins come in “clusters” of five symbols, adjacent horizontally and vertically.
It is a “cascading” game—whenever wins appear, those symbols disappear and new symbols cascade into their spots. This way, it’s possible to land several wins on a single spin.
The “Ship Wild” symbol substitutes for all regular symbols, and can be reached multiple times in the same round, including a multiplier that increases by one when landing in a winning cluster. The symbol is present on every spin.
Each time it lands, the Ship Wild symbol moves closer to a “hot spot” in the center of the grid. When it reaches that spot, it transforms into a 2X, 3X, 4X or 5X multiplier and expands to cover several spots, potentially multiplying several wins. The symbol then returns to a random spot on the grid.
