Down on Rush Street… The Exclusive Online Slots are Plentiful

The Rush Street Gaming online casinos, BetRivers.com and PlaySugarHouse.com, offer a host of exclusive games, including Gerard’s Gambit and Devil’s Lock.

The two online casino sites operated by Rush Street Gaming, the Chicago-based owner of the Rivers casinos in Pennsylvania and New York, have consistently maintained a good inventory of games that are exclusive to those sites, BetRivers.com and PlaySugarHouse.com, available in over a dozen U.S. states.

Here are descriptions of one exclusive slot game from each of the Rush Street sites.

Gerard’s Gambit

Developer: Play’n Go

RTP:* 96.2%

*The RTP, or “Return to Player” percentage, reflects the percentage of all wagers on a game that are returned, collectively, to players as wins. It is also known as the payback percentage. The RTP is listed here as a range available to operators, but RTP of around 96 percent is typical of online casino games.

This is a unique slot game from Play’n Go, in that it creates an entire fictional story line, on which the game follows through by advancing through 10 levels. The story is the tale of super-rich adventurer Gerard Wilde, described as the “black sheep of the renowned Wilde Family,” who is in search of riches at various locations throughout the world.

The first level is in the setting of “Gerard’s Mansion,” set up on a matrix of three reels spinning a single row of symbols. It quicky progresses as the player is presented with easy-to-solve “challenges” to proceed to the next level. As the levels progress, the reel set grows, through increasing rows and symbols until achieving a five-reel, three-row array with 10 paylines and 12 different symbols.

As the player moves through the levels, features are added to the game. Level 2, Egypt, adds wild symbols. Level 3, Mexico, adds re-spins—with two or more wilds, the reels re-spin with the wilds sticking in place. Level 4, Greece, enables the re-spins to continue indefinitely as long as one wild lands. Level 5, India, adds bonus symbols that award up to 10 times the bet. Level 6, Egypt again, adds trigger symbols for three to five free spins. Level 7, Mexico again, adds more bonus symbols, which award up to 60 times the bet.

Level 8, Greece again, places the sticky wilds on the re-spins—any wilds remain on the screen for the entire feature. Level 9, back to India, jacks up the bonus to include one for 100 times the bet. The top Level 10, back to Egypt, includes all the prior enhancements plus wild symbols that expand to cover several reel spots.

Devil’s Lock

Developer: Bluberi

RTP: 96%

PlaySugarHouse was the first online casino to offer the online version of the award-winning game Devil’s Lock, which has been a huge hit for Bluberi on casino floors across the country.

Devil’s Lock is centered on an animated devil character. Randomly during base-game spins, the devil pops up to grant credit awards, multipliers, wilds, or other bonuses. He also appears to celebrate big wins.

Cash-on-reels symbols appear with credit amounts covered by a lock and chain until they land with the devil on the middle reel. When the devil lands in the middle position, he unlocks all cash-on-reels coin symbols on the screen, as well as any symbols corresponding to one of the four jackpots—static Mini, Minor, Maxi or even the top Grand jackpot, with all jackpot values scaling larger as the player’s bet rises

A “Rewind” symbol on the screen brings out the devil character to transform other reel spots into additional prizes. Also, when the devil symbol lands on the center reel, it throws coins up to two “Pig Pots,” which grow in size and can randomly burst to award six free games—or 12 free games, if both of them burst. During the free games, the devil locks in the center position, unlocking all the cash-on-reels symbols landing on every spin, and re-feeding those Pig Pots.
