April 23, 2022: Six Tampa Bay pitchers combine to no-hit Boston through the first nine innings at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. None of the six pitched more than two innings. After the Sox score twice in the top of the 10th inning, the Rays rally with three runs in the bottom half and win 3-2. On the same day, Miguel Cabrera records his 3,000th career hit on a single to help the Tigers beat the Rockies 13-0. And at Wrigley Field, the Cubs bury the Pirates 21-0.

April 15, 1909: On Opening Day, the Brooklyn Dodgers beat the New York Giants 3-0 in 13 innings on a bitterly cold day at the Polo Grounds in New York. Red Ames of the Giants faces only 27 batters in the first nine innings without giving up a base hit. Brooklyn's Kaiser Wilhelm holds New York without a hit until the eighth. Ames gives up his first hit in the tenth and two more in the 11th and 12th. The Dodgers score three runs on four hits off Ames in the 13th. Wilhelm finishes with a 13-inning shutout allowing only three hits.​
